Leaking tank or pipework?
Our OFTEC registered and trained tank technicians are always on call. 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
We cover Gloucestershire (excluding the Forest of Dean), West Oxfordshire and North Wiltshire.
To enable us to help you efficiently and effectively, please try to provide the following information:
Tank:
- Is the tank metal or plastic?
- Model number or approx. dimensions of the tank
- How full is the tank?
- Can we pull a vehicle along side the tank or is access difficult?
- How much fuel have you lost? Is it entering a drain or water course?
Once we have this information or as much information as you can give us, we can then advise you on possible ways to reduce the flow of oil, whilst you are waiting for us to arrive and pump out the tank.

Pipe work:
If the pipe work has become damaged isolate the tank by turning off the tanks valve. Turn off the appliances (boiler or cooker), then try to contain as much of the oil as possible.

Repairs:
As part of the emergency call out we always aim to make the installation safe and to prevent further oil loss. Initially we will pump out the tank and then provide a written quotation for the tank replacement or repair works.
Warranty work:
If a tank is still within the manufacturers warranty period, subject to the manufacturers agreement we are authorised to carry out warranty work on behalf of DESO, Harlequin and Titan tanks.
